Handmade Holiday Market and Stoneware Ornaments

It was a good year for my ceramic ornament sales! All of my pieces are individually cut and carved, fired, stained, glazed, and fired again. I have been working with a combination of fine minerals and commercial glazes to achieve a graphically inspired look reminiscent of my illustrations. My templates have undergone some adjustments and my newer batches should be more charming than ever.

Unfortunately, online sales were not possible for my 2016 seasons, they are in the works for 2017 and I'm on the hunt for local galleries to sell my works in next year. I've been working with a wonderful local potter to get my pieces fired and critiqued. Be on the lookout, fun new stuff is in the works!

Throw Back to WLOS Interviews

I had a fun little memory pop up of some interviews I did with the local news station five Christmas' ago when I still worked for Michaels Arts & Crafts as the Custom Floral Designer. I did a series of in store features one morning as well as several Craft Corner pieces in studio the following week.

My features included segments about making gift baskets, tying bows, alcohol ink decorations, fabric painting, and more. This was such an exciting opportunity to share my talents and passion for the holidays with my community!

Wedded Bliss and Business!

These last few months have been quite busy for my little family. I got married to my boyfriend of 3.5 years in yesterday in a small and quickly assembled wedding, pictured here. I spent a couple long evenings harvesting, arranging, and hanging my floral pieces and decor. I couldn't have assembled everything without the help of my family, many thanks and love to all of them!

Pete the Cat

Our household is pretty Cat-centric, my step-son is no exception. He has been on a big Pete the Cat kick so I made him a painted initial for his door. Our little dog, Milo, is not sure what to think about all the cat stuff.
